SAP has launched a program to reduce pre-sales and implementation time for their partners. The Fast Start Program is being launched in New Zealand and will be automatically available to all certified SAP resellers. The program for SAP Business All-in-One delivers a fixed price, fixed scope, on-site ERP solution. SAP has also incorporated a self service element into the sales process. Customers select the business processes they require using software Configurator. This web-based tool provides a recommended solution, allows further solution scoping and then provides estimates for the total offering. It can be used either by end users or resellers and is said to enable the implementation of a business solution in 12 weeks, and perhaps as few as six.
