At a time when American workers are hoping that their employers will be returning jobs to the US, this situation is unlikely to change the status quo. In fact the upcoming contract negotiations could mean that could mean that American companies are tempted to outsource even more jobs, if the price is right. Recently HCL Technologies won a contract with Deutsche Bank, who has traditionally been a client of Infosys, and executives aware of the deal negotiations described the pricing offered by HCL as being "significantly" lower. It is fair to assume that as more contracts come up for renewal, the four leading companies, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and HCL, will be doing everything possible to win this business.
