As US and European companies find themselves in a more stable situation the pressure to offshore jobs has lessened. For the major service companies in India the need to keep revenues and profits growing will lead them not to rely solely on local employees, but to look overseas. It is reported by Gartner Research
that the major service companies will drastically increase recruitment of US based personnel rather than sending Indian resources to the US.
It is estimated that the major service companies will need to expand their US and European presence and this means hiring local talent. This could mean that these companies will triple their direct hiring in the US by 2016. The same level of investment may also be needed in Europe as in the near future the European Union could force legislation to protect jobs and reduce offshoring
